Multilingual interpretation, transcription, and structured summaries for conversations where getting it wrong is not an option.

The Product

What is VideoTranslatorAI?

A multilingual communication platform built for the moments that matter most.

VideoTranslatorAI is a multilingual communication platform that supports real-time interpretation, transcription, and prompt-driven summaries across three distinct modes: In Person, Video Call, and Broadcast. It was built for organisations that operate across language barriers in contexts where accuracy and documentation are not optional extras.

The product goes beyond simple translation. Conversations are captured, interpreted in real time, and converted into structured outputs that teams can actually use. Notes, action items, handover records, and summaries are generated automatically based on the session content, removing the manual work that typically follows high-stakes meetings.

It supports 55 languages across its workflows, is available on web and mobile, and is designed for controlled, consent-based use in professional environments. VideoTranslatorAI has been featured on SBS World News for its role in delivering critical hazard alerts across language barriers.

Why It Was Built

The gap generic tools left open.

For most organisations operating across multiple languages, the available options were either basic consumer translation apps that lacked professional structure, or expensive human interpreter services that were slow to deploy and impossible to scale.

Neither solved the documentation problem. Even when a conversation was successfully interpreted, capturing what was said, agreed, or actioned was left entirely to the participants. In settings like healthcare consultations, legal appointments, and government engagement, that gap is a real risk.

VideoTranslatorAI was built to close both gaps at once. Interpretation and documentation in a single workflow, designed for the kinds of organisations that cannot afford misunderstanding or incomplete records. The product treats language access not as a convenience feature but as an operational requirement.

Built for these contexts

Healthcare and aged care

Clinical conversations where patient safety depends on precise, documented communication across languages.

Legal and migration

Consultations and proceedings where the accuracy of every exchange carries legal weight.

Government and community

Public engagement programs that need to reach diverse language communities at scale.

NGOs and humanitarian work

Field operations where rapid, reliable communication across many languages is a daily operational need.

How It Works

Three modes.
One workflow.

VideoTranslatorAI organises its capabilities into three distinct session types, each designed for a different communication context. After any session, Prompt Customisation converts the transcript into the specific output format the team needs.

In Person

Face-to-face interpretation and spoken note capture

Designed for direct multilingual conversations where both parties are in the same room. The app listens, interprets in real time, and can also be used for post-meeting dictation to capture spoken notes and convert them into structured summaries.

  • Real-time interpretation for in-room conversations
  • Spoken note capture with AI structuring
  • Prompt customisation for follow-up outputs
  • Suited to clinical, legal, and field settings

Video Call

Remote transcription and two-language interpretation

Supports either English-only transcription for standard meetings or two-language interpreted calls for cross-language conversations. Post-call summaries are automatically generated and can be emailed to the session organiser.

  • English-only transcription with summary outputs
  • Two-language interpretation for remote calls
  • Automatic post-call summary by email
  • Suited to remote consultations and support

Broadcast

Multilingual sessions with 3 or more active languages

Built for large multilingual sessions where participants receive output in their own nominated language. Supports both one-to-many and two-way participation, with up to 30 users in a single session across 3 or more active languages.

  • 3 or more languages in a single session
  • One-to-many and two-way participation
  • Per-participant language selection
  • Up to 30 users per session
After Every Session

From conversation to actionable output.

Prompt Customisation turns any session transcript into the specific document format a team needs, from clinical handover notes to legal summaries and action lists. The default output is a structured text summary delivered by email to the session organiser automatically.

1
Session ends
The transcript is captured and held ready for processing.
2
Prompt applied
A spoken or typed prompt tells the AI what kind of summary to generate.
3
Summary delivered
Structured output is emailed to the session organiser, ready to act on.
